I am humbled! We ran out of our first run of cards!   More are on their way!
Yours will only be delayed by a few days!!
I am loving the stories from those that have been giving them away!
I was on earth with my Mom for
1,875 days before she died.
That made me just five years old.

I was on earth with my Mom for
1,875 days before she died.
That made me just five years old.
A really powerful moment happened when I realized the date my oldest daughter would be one earth with me for 1,875 days. I thought...

"Had I taught my daughter enough?"
"Did I love her enough?"
"Did she know if her little heart I loved her?"

It changed me.

There was a shift that happened inside of me. I made a
commitment to be more expressive to the people I loved.
That is where the project started...
For me this experience inspired me to write a thank you note each day.

I started looking at all of my interactions and feelings through a different lens.  I was looking for moments with people and feelings that brought someone top of mind for me. I loved that mindfulness.

But then like every great idea...life gets busy! Sometimes I missed a day and then it turned into two and then sometimes a week went by and I hadn't written any thank you notes.  When that happened, the lens that I looked at the day through changed.

I created a small card that said a phrase that I always say "You are Wonderful" that I could give to someone in my day . I found that same sense of mindfulness.  I still write thank you notes but I love that I can give these little cards away.
My friends asked me if they could get their own stack of "You are Wonderful!" cards to give away. An unexpected thing happened...they started sharing their experiences of handing these cards out with me and on social media.

I wanted to make it easy for anyone to get their own stack of "You are Wonderful!" cards.

For now they are free, a gift to you. Just enter in your address so I know where to send them.

I can't wait to hear your story!

I can't wait to see where in the world these little cards end up!!
These are my daughters, Kennedy and Kate...the inspiration for the project. When I realized the date they were on earth with me for 1,875 days...
It changed me!
"If you only knew how much those little moments with you mattered to me."
What I Hope Happens...
Life gets so busy. We think a lot of things, but we just don't do a lot of things. But, it takes five seconds to tell somebody that they are wonderful. And it can change their whole day.  I hope we can do little actions that sticks out in people's heart and their mind, that show them how much that relationship means to you.

Watch Some of the Lessons I have Learned...
Little Habits of Love
Little actions become habits of expressing our love to others or doing things to remind them that the relationship is important to us.
Unconditional Love
Even though I don't have a whole bunch of these interactions in my mind, I really remember the feeling of feeling loved, unconditionally loved.
Silver Linings
I have an amazing relationship with my dad, and I've came to appreciate that. And if you're looking for a silver lining is this relationship with my dad.
The whole story...
Project 1875 started with a conversation I had with my Dad on the telephone. It was April 12th, this day changed our family. On April 12th my Mom passed away unexpectedly from complications of giving birth to my little brother. My Dad was expressing his sorrow for not having my Mom on earth to feel her love in a very tangible way.

My Dad is a retired college professor of Finance. I remember him using his calculator since the day I was born. During this conversation, he entered my birth date into the calculator and the date my mom passed away. One thousand eight hundred and seventy five was the number that came up on the calculator. Just 1875 days, that made me just 5 years old.

What he did next was powerful for me. It changed me forever!

My oldest daughter, Kennedy was only four at the time, my Dad entered my precious Kennedy’s birthday into his calculator and added 1875 days. The date that came up was November 7th of that year.

When he said that date...My heart dropped. It was too close!

“Had I taught her enough?” “Had I told her I loved her enough?” Did she KNOW in her little heart that I loved her?” Those where the questions that raced through my heart.

I made a promise right then and there. I was going to be more present. I was going to be more expressive of my love and appreciation. I was going to listen more. I was going to create deeper relationships.

I have always known life is fragile but I had a new realization about making each moment count. I made a goal to write a thank you note each day. I needed those that I loved to know how great they made my life. Sharing that love and appreciation has made me see the world differently. I want others to feel that same way.
